Write a letter to your pen-friend describing your country and her people
Dear Yuki,
I got your letter last week, and I want to say thank you for sending me those pictures of the cool places in Japan. In your letter, you asked about my country, so I'm going to tell you about it now.
My country, Bangladesh, might be small, but it's got a lot of people. It's super pretty too, one of the prettiest places in the whole world. Our country is full of rivers, which means we have lots of green fields, wavy rivers all over the place, hills that are big and small with nice tea gardens, and long rows of trees and deep forests that go on for miles. The biggest beach in the world, Cox’s Bazar, is here too. And guess what? We've got those famous Royal Bengal Tigers living in our Sundarbans. Our villages next to the rivers are really nice, and we're all about being friendly and welcoming to guests.
We've got some cool poets too, like Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Jasim Uddin. The weather here is not too hot or too cold – it's in the middle. Most people in Bangladesh are Muslims and they mostly do farming. Oh, and we love eating rice – it's our main food. We have rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, three times a day.
That's enough for today. I'd love to hear about your country in your next letter. Say hi to your parents for me.
Take care,
Mabrur
