Subject: Prayer for a half-holiday.

Dear Sir,
You are fully aware that Safiqul Islam, a student of our school has stood first in order of merit in the S. S. C examination this year. It is really a great honour for our school. We are very proud of it. So we wish to give him a warm reception in a befitting manner.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant us a half-holiday to celebrate our glorious victory and oblige thereby.
