Story | A Crocodile And The Cunning Fox

Once a crocodile wanted her four children to be educated. But how is it possible? So she went to a fox and asked him if he could teach her children. The cunning fox gladly received the offer. So the crocodile left all her children with the fox and went back to the river. The fox liked to eat crocodile's kids. So he ate one of them and kept the other three. After some days, the crocodile came to see her children. Then the cunning fox showed her the three kids and showed one of them twice. The foolish mother crocodile thought that she saw all four of her children and went away with a joyful mind. She thought that her children were being taught properly under the close observation of the learned fox. A few days later she again came to see her children. In the mean time the shrewd fox ate another child of the crocodile. So, he showed the foolish mother her children one after another. But this time he showed one child thrice. The mother crocodile could not understand the trick. In this way the fox ate up all the four children without creating any question in the mind of the mother. He also informed her that her children were getting well educated. After a few month the mother came for the last time to take her educated children back home. But this time the fox told her that her children after getting educated went out to travel around the world. They needed practical experience of the world to fulfill their education. One day they would surely return home after getting fully educated. The helpless mother then returned home with the sweet dream of her wellversed children in her eyes.
