Story | A Hunter, A Deer, A Pig, A Snake And A Jackal
Once upon a time, there was a person who lived in a forest and liked to hunt animals. One morning, he went out to hunt, hoping to find a deer. Before long, he spotted a deer and chased after it until he caught it. The hunter put the deer on his shoulder and happily started heading home.
On his way back, he came across a fat pig. He decided to leave the deer on the ground and shot the pig with an arrow. The pig made a scared sound and attacked the hunter. It hit the hunter really hard in the stomach and he died right away. The pig, being injured, also fell down and died.
During the fight, a snake happened to be passing by. Unfortunately, the snake got stepped on and died as a result. Meanwhile, a clever jackal had been hiding behind a tree, observing everything.
When the jackal saw that the hunter, the deer, the pig, and the snake were all lying dead, it felt extremely happy. It thought to itself, "Wow! What a stroke of luck! It seems like I'm going to have a big feast. But I'll eat only a little bit at a time so it will last me longer."
Then, the jackal dragged each body to its den, one by one. It had a feast for a long time, savoring the food slowly to make it last.
