Paragraph | Duty To Parents/ Obedience To Parents

Obedience to parents is a great virtue. It is a devine and religious duty and never should be neglected it. Islam says that heaven lies at the feet of mother. It also says that to please the father is to please the Allah. Parents are the best friends. We owe to them for our existence on the earth. We should not be disgraceful to them. So it is our sacred duty to serve them whenever they become helpless and old. We should not utter such a word which makes them unhappy and displeased. We sould always talk to them with a cheerful mood. They always pray to Allah for our success. Disobedience to parents is a great sin. Disobedient children cannot be successful in life. Allah does not like them. It is a curse.
