Story | It Is Difficult To Please Everybody

Once upon a time, there was an elderly man and his son living in a village. They had a donkey, which they decided to sell at the market. As they set out on their journey to the market, the boy sat on the donkey while the old man happily walked alongside. A woman saw them and exclaimed, "Look at that selfish boy! He's sitting on the donkey while his poor old father is walking." Upon hearing this, the boy got off the donkey and let his father ride instead.

Shortly after, another man noticed them and remarked, "Look at that selfish man! He's riding the donkey while the little boy is walking." Upon hearing this, the old man decided to get off the donkey, and both he and his son began to walk.

Not long after, someone else saw them and commented, "Look at how foolish this old man and his son are! They have a perfectly good donkey and they're not even riding it." Feeling perplexed, the man and his son decided to both ride the donkey.

Just then, a young girl saw them and said, "Look at how foolish this old man and his son are! They're both riding the donkey."

Feeling frustrated by the conflicting opinions, the old man turned to his son and said, "Let's not worry about what others say. It's impossible to please everyone. Let's do what we want and continue on our own path."
