Report | Price of rice is going down whereas price of some essentials is soaring.

The prices of all daily commodities are on the increase. From the interview of the common people it is found that the prices of all the necessary items of commodities excluding rice are rising so high that the common people can hardly afford.
A buyer at Babubazar said the rice price has decreased between Tk 1 and TK 2 per kg because market. Different varieties of powdered milk have also increased between 2.19 percent and 11.11 percent. The price of garlic has increased between 15 percent and 25.93 percent, beef 2.13 percent, mutton 4.11 percent, broiler chicken 3.70 percent and Hilsha fish 11.76 percent for the last one-month, according to state owned Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB)
However, vegetables price remained same as in the previous week. The prices of loose soybean, palm oil and mug dal remained high.
Common People have shown great concern over this price hike. They want government to take immediate, steps to keep the price of daily commodities within their reach.
