Report | Victory Day Celebrating

Our Mymensingh Correspondent: In my home town Mymensingh, Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam College organised a two day victory Day programme on the campus on December 16 and 17. On December 16, the Principal of the college inaugurated the event. The programmed started with a discussion attended by teachers and students. The Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police of Mymensingh attended the programme as special guests. Speakers at the discussion narrated the country’s road to independence and highlighted the facts about the Liberation War. They also asked the students to be a true citizen of the country. After the discussion a cultural show was also held. Students of the College performed patriotic audience a lot. The next day was a public holiday. But the college was open for different programmes that include discussion, cultural show and competitions on different events at the college auditorium.
