The Selfish Horse, Donkey and The Washer man
Once upon a time in a small town, there was a man who worked as a washer. He had a donkey and a horse as his animal companions. His job was to transport many bundles of clothes to another town, and he needed both the donkey and the horse to help him. So, he loaded the donkey with a heavy load, and the three of them set out on their journey.
The day was scorching hot, and the donkey soon became very tired. It asked the horse if it could share some of the load, but the horse refused, saying it wasn't its job to carry the load.
Eventually, the exhausted donkey couldn't walk any longer and collapsed in the middle of the road. The washer man was determined to finish his journey, so he transferred all the donkey's bundles onto the horse and continued on his way.
The horse realized it should have helped the donkey earlier and thought to itself, "I wish I had assisted the donkey before!"
Moral of the story: Never hesitate to help someone in need.
