Lion and The Intelligent Rabbit: Moral Stories For Kids
Once upon a time, in a big forest, there was a lion who was the boss of all the animals. He lived in a cave and every day he would catch and eat animals for his meals. This made the other animals very scared and unhappy. They decided to talk to the lion and tell him about their worries. The lion listened and said that he wouldn't eat any animal if someone came to him willingly every day.
This arrangement continued for some time. One day, it was the rabbit's turn to go to the lion. On the way, the rabbit saw an old well and got an idea to trick the lion. He went to the lion and said that there was another lion who claimed to be even stronger. The curious lion asked the rabbit to take him to this other lion. The rabbit took the lion to the well and pointed at the water, saying that the other lion lived inside it.
The lion, thinking he was looking at another lion, jumped into the well and drowned because he was really seeing his own reflection. This is how the rabbit cleverly used his brain to outsmart the strong lion.
The lesson we learn from this story is that being smart and using your brain can be more powerful than just being strong.
