The Old Lion and The Fox Story

Once upon a time, there was an old Lion who lived in a cave. He wasn't as strong as he used to be, and his teeth and claws were worn out. This made it hard for him to find food like he did when he was younger. So, he came up with a trick. He pretended to be sick and spread the word to all his animal neighbors. He hoped they would visit him out of sympathy.

When the animals came to check on him, he didn't really need their sympathy. Instead, he ate them one by one! The Fox was clever though. He wanted to be careful. He stayed a safe distance from the Lion's cave and asked about the Lion's health in a polite way. The Lion told the Fox that he was very sick and asked the Fox to come closer. But the smart Fox stayed outside and thanked the Lion for the invitation.

Then the Fox said something clever, "I'd love to come in, but I've noticed that many animals go into your cave, but none of them come out. Could you explain how they find their way out?"

The lesson of this story is: Learn from the mistakes and misfortunes of others.
