The talking cave
Once upon a time, in a thick forest, there was an old lion who hadn't eaten for many days. He was very hungry and wandered through the woods. Suddenly, he spotted a cave and thought to himself, "Wow, this cave seems like a good place to stay. I'll hide inside and when someone enters, I'll catch them."
With this plan in mind, the lion entered the cave and concealed himself. After a while, a jackal, who actually lived in the cave, arrived. As the jackal was about to enter, he noticed lion footprints going into the cave, but there were no footprints coming out. He quickly understood what was happening and exclaimed, "Hey there, cave! Are you ignoring me? Won't you talk?"
Getting no response, the jackal called out again, "Dear cave, did I upset you? If you don't answer, I won't go inside."
Hearing all this, the lion inside the cave thought that the cave might be able to talk, and it wasn't answering because it was scared of the lion. So, the lion decided to play along and shouted, "Oh dear, come in! I've been waiting for you."
The jackal immediately saw through the lion's trick. Feeling clever, he retorted, "Ha! You must be really silly to believe that a cave can talk." And with that, the jackal hurriedly ran away, leaving the lion sitting there regretting his foolish idea.
Moral: Always stay alert and think smart. It's the best way to tackle problems in life.
