Corona Virus Paragraph For Any Class

Coronaviruses are a kind of germs that usually affect the breathing parts of animals, including people. They can cause things like common colds, pneumonia, and really bad respiratory problems. Sometimes they might even mess with the stomach.

For about the last 70 years, smart people who study these things found out that coronaviruses can make animals like mice, dogs, cats, pigs, and cows sick. Not long ago, there was a big outbreak of a coronavirus in China, and now it's spread to other countries too.

In 2019, a group of health experts started keeping an eye on a new kind of coronavirus. They first noticed it in a city in China and gave it a name: 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov). Over a thousand people got this virus in China, and it traveled to other places too, like the US. On January 31, 2020, someone in the US got the virus from another person. This made a big health group called the World Health Organization (WHO) very worried, and they said it was a serious health problem. Since then, this virus has caused trouble in 24 other countries.

In the UK, on February 10, 2020, a hospital in a town called Brighton had to close for a bit because one of the workers got the virus. Right now, there are eight people with the virus there. At first, they thought this virus was spreading from animals to people, maybe in places where they sell animals and food. But then they found out that people who didn't have any connection to those places were also getting sick, which means it can spread from one person to another.

When someone gets this 2019-nCov, the signs they show can be different. Some might not have any problems at all, but others might get very sick and even die. Some common signs include having a fever, trouble breathing, and a cough. After getting the virus, it could take anywhere from 2 to 14 days for the symptoms to show up.

Right now, there isn't a shot to protect against the 2019-nCov virus. But smart scientists have copied the virus, which could help find it early in people who have it but don't show any signs yet.
