Visiting Zoo Paragraph

A zoo is like a big special place where they keep different kinds of wild animals in cages so people can see them. Going to the zoo is a lot of fun, especially for kids. I really like going to the zoo. The one I went to is called The National Zoo in Dhaka. Last Sunday, me and some friends went there. It's in a place called Mirpur in Dhaka. We took a bus to get there. When we got to the zoo, we got tickets and went inside.

This zoo is the biggest one in our country and it's really huge – it covers an area of land that's 313 acres big. There were lots of different birds and animals in cages for people to look at. First, we saw a bunch of monkeys jumping around and making funny noises. They looked so happy eating bananas and peanuts that visitors gave them. There were all sorts of birds, each a different color and size, making nice sounds together. We also saw tigers, lions, bears, and leopards moving around in their cages.

The most exciting part of the zoo was our national animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger. It was sitting in its cage like a king. The peacock was also really pretty with its colorful feathers. We also saw crocodiles and hippopotamuses in the water. We stayed in the zoo for about two hours. When we visited the zoo, we learned about what the animals eat, how they live, and what makes them special. I realized that going to the zoo is not just fun, it's also a good way to learn things. We were all really happy to see the wild animals at the zoo.
