A Railway Porter Paragraph
A railway porter is someone you often see at train stations. He's a hardworking person who carries heavy things like bags and luggage. He works all day long, starting in the morning and ending at night. When passengers get off the train, he helps them by carrying their bags and luggage to where they want to go. He talks with the passengers to agree on how much they will pay him for his help. Sometimes, he gets the amount of money he wants, but most times he gets less. Passengers are happy when they can pay him less.
A railway porter is very strong and tough. He wears simple and not very nice clothes. He doesn't have enough food to eat because he has a big family to take care of. If he gets sick or can't work, he won't have enough money to buy food. He lives day by day, not knowing if he'll have enough to eat. He doesn't earn a lot of money each day, so it's hard for him to support his family. Sometimes, he has to call out for work because there isn't always enough for him. He also helps load and unload goods from trains. So, a railway porter does important work for us. We shouldn't think of him as less important. He should be paid well for what he does.
