Drug Addiction Paragraph

Addiction is when someone really likes something that's bad for them. Drug addiction is when someone becomes really attached to certain drugs. These drugs make a person feel funny inside and can be harmful. Some of these drugs are opium, morphine, heroin, and cocaine. Drug addiction is a really bad thing. It's like a big problem that many people have these days. There are reasons why people get addicted to drugs. Sometimes, when life feels tough and disappointing, people might turn to drugs. Also, problems in families, not being happy in love, not having a job, being very poor, and when a place is not calm can all lead to drug addiction.

When someone feels frustrated, they might use drugs to feel better. But using drugs makes things worse. It costs a lot of money, harms the brain and body, and creates a lot of problems in society. People who are addicted might do bad things to get more drugs. They might even do things like terrorism just to get money for drugs. Once someone is addicted, it's really hard to stop. It's like a big weight on society, and people who are addicted feel sad and alone. Everyone stays away from them.

Drug addiction can ruin a person's life. So, the government should do things to stop drug addiction from spreading.
