A Railway Porter Paragraph
A railway porter is someone who works at a train station and helps carry people's belongings. You'll often see them around at train stations. They might look a bit dirty from their work. They are really strong and healthy, so they can carry heavy things. They wear a special metal badge on their arm that the train station gives them. This badge has a number on it. They usually have on a red shirt and a cloth wrapped around their head like a hat. Their job is to carry the bags and suitcases of passengers. They wait at the station for the trains to arrive and help out.
Railway porters are smart. If a passenger is having a tough time and needs help with their heavy bags, the porter might ask for more money to help. Sometimes they can be a bit argumentative and like to talk about how much they should be paid. They don't make a lot of money even though they work really hard. They live from one paycheck to another, which means they don't have much extra money left after paying for things they need.
