Paragraph The Curse of Dowry
Dowry is a really bad tradition in marriage where the bride's parents have to give money or things to the groom's family for letting them marry their daughter. This happens because people don't realize it's wrong. The groom and his parents ask for dowry, and the bride's parents are the ones who suffer. The poor parents can't meet the demands of the groom's family and go through a lot of trouble. This has made our society unhealthy and made us forget about being good and having good morals.
Also, because most parents are poor, many people in our society go through this problem over and over again. As someone who cares about society, I strongly disagree with this bad tradition. The government and everyone in society should take practical steps to stop this bad thing. First, we need to make everyone aware that this is a bad tradition.
