Paragraph Earthquake

An earthquake is a strong shaking of the ground that happens sometimes. It's like when the earth suddenly moves and wiggles. Earthquakes can happen because of cracks deep inside the earth or when volcanoes erupt and spit out hot stuff. Sometimes, gases deep down want to come out and that can also cause shaking.

In a place called Bangladesh, earthquakes happen a lot. But not many people there know how serious the damage can be. Lately, experts are paying more attention because there have been a lot of little shakes. If a big earthquake happens in Bangladesh, many buildings in the cities might get wrecked. That's because they weren't built strong enough to handle an earthquake.

Some smart people think that all these little shakes mean a big one might come soon. Other smart people say not to worry too much because even though there are places where the earth can crack, they might not crack enough to make a huge problem. But still, nobody can say for sure that a big earthquake won't happen.

To keep safe, we should learn about why earthquakes happen and what they can do. If we want to build a house, it's a good idea to ask experts how to make it strong so it won't fall down during an earthquake. The government can also help by making rules for how buildings should be built so they can handle earthquakes better. This way, if there's an earthquake, the damage might not be so bad.
