Paragraph Shaheed Minar
The Central Shaheed Minar shows how much the country respects the people who died for the language movement in 1952. It's in Dhaka, between Dhaka Medical College Hospital and a part of Dhaka University. The person who planned it was Hamidur Rahman. He was the first to start a new way of painting in Pakistan back then. He tried different ways of using straight lines and up-and-down lines to show the idea of Bengali people being together and one for their country. The straight lines in his design showed the strong feelings inside them. The four tall poles on both sides of the middle part of the monument show that they're standing together in a balanced and peaceful way. Today, the Shaheed Minar is a symbol of freedom, strength, and being together. When we stand in front of it, we feel proud of the people who gave their lives to make sure Bangla, our dear mother language, got the respect it deserved.
