Paragraph Water Pollution

Pollution means putting harmful stuff into nature, making things go wrong. When water gets dirty and can hurt living things, it's called water pollution. Water is really important, but sometimes it gets messed up. People throw trash into water, like garbage. Farmers use strong stuff like chemicals to help their plants grow, but when it rains, these chemicals can wash into rivers and ponds. Factories also throw their bad stuff into water, making it yucky. Even boats can make water dirty by dumping oil, food, and waste from people into it. Places where people go to the bathroom near rivers can also make water dirty. This can make people sick when they drink the dirty water. They can get sick with things like cholera and diarrhea. We need to know about this problem and try to stop it so we don't get sick from the dirty water.
