United We Stand, Divided We Fall Unity is Strength Story
Once upon a time, there was an older farmer. He had four sons, all of them were grown up. But sadly, they didn't get along well. They didn't listen and would often argue. As a result, their home was always filled with arguments and this made the old man very worried. He tried to make them understand, but his efforts didn't work. Finally, he came up with an idea.
He gathered all his sons and asked them to bring a bunch of sticks. They did as he said and brought the sticks. Then the farmer told them to try and break the bunch of sticks all together. They each took a turn, but none of them could break it. Then, the farmer asked them to untie the bunch and gave one stick to each son. They now had separate sticks in their hands. Then the farmer told them to try and break the individual sticks. This time, they were able to break the sticks easily.
After this, the farmer explained to his sons, "When you stay united and work together, no one can harm you. But if you're separate and not together, you become weak, just like the single sticks that were easily broken."
