Democracy and Autocracy Paragraph

Democracy and autocracy are two types of governments in the modern world, each with its own good and bad points. In a democracy, the thoughts of the public are clearly shown. The government in a democracy is chosen directly by the people. It's like a government for everyone. Abraham Lincoln described democracy as a government that's made and run by the people, and it's supposed to be for the people too. On the other hand, an autocratic government isn't really connected to the people. In this type of system, the government takes power without caring about what the public thinks. In a democracy, the government can't become really harsh and bossy. The people in a country can change the government and make a new one if they need to. Here, the power comes from the people. They can fully use their rights. But in an autocracy, the government is the people. This kind of system doesn't rely on the people to decide things in serious situations. Some people say that democracy lets foolish people make decisions. However, if a harsh government becomes honest, good, and ideal, the people can actually benefit more. This is great for a country's fast progress. But a democracy works best when the people are aware and educated. So, democracy and autocracy are completely different and opposite. They have good and bad sides.
