Eve-teasing Paragraph

In our country, there's a problem called "eve-teasing" that's spreading like a contagious sickness. It's a bad sign for our society. Eve-teasing is when men bother women, making them uncomfortable or upset either with their words or actions. This term is used in places like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The word "Eve" comes from a religious story. Nowadays, people talk a lot about this issue. It mostly happens near schools, colleges, and on the streets. Some young men who are behaving badly bother girls or women there. This problem is getting worse and spreading everywhere like a harmful disease. Different kinds of people do this, like rich and poor, educated and not educated, young boys, rickshaw drivers, bus drivers, street sellers, traffic police, and sometimes even bosses or co-workers of women who work. Young boys and men stand near schools and on street corners to bother girls and women. They might say inappropriate things or make rude comments. Sometimes, they pull at girls' scarves or uniforms. Eve-teasing leaves deep and lasting emotional scars. People who study the mind think that not having strong beliefs, not having close family connections, not having enough education for women, and not learning good morals all contribute to this bad behavior. In movies, eve-teasing is sometimes shown as a way to start a romantic relationship. In Bangladesh, the Education Ministry decided that June 13, 2010, would be a day to raise awareness about eve-teasing and how to stop it. Nowadays, people use the term "sexual harassment" instead of "eve-teasing." If we treat women and men the same and make sure women have power, we can make eve-teasing happen less often. Police should arrest the people who do this and put them on trial.
