Literature Paragraph
Literature can be split into five main groups. These are poetry, drama, fiction, non-fiction, and criticism. Poetry comes in two main styles: subjective and objective. Subjective poetry is also known as lyric poetry. It has different types like elegy, sonnet, ode, dramatic monologue, hymn, and epithalamion. Objective poetry has two kinds: dramatic and narrative. Dramatic poetry doesn't have sub-categories, but narrative poetry does. It is split into epic, ballad, and metrical romance.
Drama is mainly divided into two types: tragedy and comedy. Tragedy can be heroic, about revenge, or follow the style of Seneca. Comedy can be romantic, about manners, humours, ideas, farce, high or low comedy.
Fiction has at least three smaller types. It's categorized as a novel, short story, or romance. A novel can be picaresque, physical, historical, social, panoramic, non-fiction, epistolary, regional, and more. A really short novel is called a novelette. Short stories can be love stories, adventure stories, detective stories, psychological stories, scientific stories, social stories, and so on.
Non-fiction is generally sorted into essay, pamphlet, travelogue, biography, and autobiography. Criticism can be archetypal, moralistic, psychoanalytic, sociological, structuralist, stylistic, and more. Besides these, there are many other smaller forms or types of writing.
