The Curse of Dowry Paragraph

Dowry is a very bad tradition in our society. It happens when a bride's parents have to give money or property to the groom's family so he will marry their daughter. The main reason for dowry is some parents and their sons being greedy, and our society not realizing how bad it is. Grooms and their families ask for dowry without thinking, and brides' parents suffer because of it. Poor parents can't meet the demands and go through a lot of pain. This tradition has made our society worse and we've lost our good qualities and morals. Also, because many parents are poor, lots of people in our society face this problem. It's a never-ending cycle because the bad practice of dowry continues and it's not a secret anymore. I strongly protest against this bad tradition as someone who cares about our society. The government and people in our society should take practical steps to stop this problem. First, we need to make everyone aware of how bad dowry is.
