Trick of a Cunning Fox/ A Fox without a Tail Story
Once upon a time, in a forest, there was a smart fox. One day, while he was walking through the forest, he accidentally got caught in a trap. He managed to escape, but his tail got left behind. Without his tail, he looked strange and different. Feeling worried, he wondered aloud, "What should I do now?"
This fox was really clever. He thought and thought, until a great idea popped into his head. He said to himself, "I'll call for a meeting of all the foxes in the forest." He quickly spread the word about the meeting, and soon, all the foxes gathered. They were impressed by the cleverness of Mr. Fox and wondered what he had to say.
When Mr. Fox saw all his fellow foxes present, he felt very happy. With enthusiasm, he began, "My dear friends, I've gathered you here today because I've made a very important discovery. Our tails, well, they're not as useful as we think. They kind of make us look not so great. So, I propose that we all cut off our tails!" All the foxes were listening intently to the clever fox's words.
Suddenly, an elderly fox stood up and spoke, "My friend, your plan is intriguing, but it's not very wise. You don't have a tail, so you're suggesting we give up ours? No, we shouldn't do that."
