A House on Fire Story

One Sunday, I went to bed at 9 pm and had a good sleep. But then, around 1 am, I woke up because I heard a lot of noise not far away. I quickly got out of bed and ran to where the noise was coming from. I saw that a small house was on fire. People were hurrying towards it. An old lady and a poor little girl who lived in the house were stuck inside. They were shouting for help from inside the burning house. Everyone was throwing water on the fire, but no one was brave enough to go inside.

Finally, I asked a courageous young man if he could save the old lady and the little girl. I was really sad and had tears in my eyes at that moment. He looked at me for a moment and then bravely went into the burning house. He came out with the little girl in his arms and the old lady on his back. I was so relieved and happy that they were safe. I thanked God and felt really glad about the kind and brave thing the young man did. I will always remember this act of kindness.
