A Railway Station Paragraph
A Train Station
A train station is an important part of a country's train system. It's a place where trains stop and start their journeys. There's a raised area where people wait. People get off and get on the train at a train station. The buildings of a station are usually made of red bricks. You can spot the green, red, and blue signals and colorful houses of a station from far away. Inside, there are rooms where people wait before their train comes. There are separate rooms for men and women. You can also find places to buy tickets, a place to send and receive goods, places to eat, a shop that sells books, and a room where the person in charge stays. Each station has two or more tracks where the trains run. There are two types of signals, one is inside the station area and the other is outside. Before a train comes, a person called the pointsman adjusts these signals. The pointsman uses red and green flags. At a train station, you can also see places where rickshaws, auto-rickshaws, and other vehicles wait. Before a train arrives, people stand in a line to buy their tickets. When a train comes, the station gets really busy and loud. Once the train leaves, the station becomes quiet and peaceful again.
