A Selfish Giant Story
Once upon a time, there was a giant who cared only about himself. He had a big and beautiful garden with soft green grass. All around the grass, there were many colorful flowers that shone like stars. This garden was a wonderful place for children to play. One day, the giant returned from visiting a friend and had stayed away for seven years. When he came back, he saw children playing in his garden. He shouted in a very rough voice, "Why are you here?" The children got scared and ran away. The giant said, "This garden is mine, and I won't let anyone play in it." He built a tall wall around it and put up a sign.
The children remembered how joyful they were in that garden. Then, spring arrived with blossoms and birds in the whole country. But the giant's garden remained stuck in winter. The birds didn't want to sing there because there were no children, and the trees forgot to bloom. As the children stopped coming, the garden lost its beauty, and everything became covered and sad.
One morning, the giant saw children playing in his garden again. They had found a small hole in the wall and entered. Finally, spring came to the garden because the children were back, and it was so happy that everything bloomed and blossomed.
The giant realized he had been selfish and felt very sorry. He allowed the children to play in his garden every day.
