All That Glitters is Not Gold Story

Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived a deer. This deer got really thirsty and went to a stream to have a drink of water. The water in the stream was super clear, so clear that when the deer looked at it, he could see his own reflection in the water. He got really fascinated when he saw his own antlers (horns) in the reflection. But when he looked at his legs, he felt sad because they were thin and not very nice-looking.

While he was lost in these thoughts, he noticed a hunter approaching him with his dogs. The deer got scared and started running as fast as he could to save his life. His thin legs were actually helpful in running really fast. However, there was a problem. As he was running, his antlers got tangled in the vines of the bushes. He tripped and fell down. Unfortunately, the hunter caught up to him and ended up killing him.

It's interesting to note that if the deer didn't have those antlers, he might not have been killed. This story teaches us that not everything that looks attractive or impressive is actually good or beneficial.
