Subject: Request to Change Elective Subject

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you that I am a student in the Humanities group of class IX at your school. When I joined, I chose general history as my elective subject. However, I have come to realize that general history is quite challenging for me. Additionally, I have a strong interest in studying geography in the future and believe it will benefit my academic path. Achieving a GPA-5 in the SSC Examination is also important to me, and I believe that selecting geography as my elective subject will contribute to this goal.

Therefore, I kindly request your permission to switch my elective subject from general history to geography. Your consideration of my request would greatly help me in pursuing my academic aspirations.
