Dear Sir,

We want to let you know that we plan to have a yearly cultural event on 30 August 2017 at our school hall. Students who are interested in art and culture have shown their wish for this event. They would like to read poems and perform a play called "Shasher Kabita" written by Tagore. Some well-known artists have said they will join us. We will work hard to keep the respect of our good school. We promise to spend as little as we can.

We kindly ask for your permission to hold this cultural event at the school.
