Greatness Lies in Sympathy Story

There was a man named Philip Sydney who got hurt in a fight. His leg bone was broken, but he managed to walk about a mile and get to his camp. He was very thirsty and almost passed out from all the effort. He asked for some water to drink. The water was brought to him right away. However, just as he was about to drink from the cup, he noticed another soldier who didn't have much and really wanted a drink too. This soldier had been ignored for a long time.

Instead of drinking the water himself, the very kind Philip Sydney gave the cup to the soldier. He said that the soldier needed it more than he did.
