Why Learning English is Important

Learning English is really, really valuable. It's a language used all around the world. We should learn English when we go to school after high school. It's where we find all the information from books. All the books about higher education in every field are written in English. If we want to know a lot and learn more after high school, we need to read these books. Everything great in European and American thinking is in English. If we lose this source, we'll go backwards. Also, all the new science that's growing quickly is thanks to science. Right now, more than 80% of what's inside computers in the world is in English. So, if we don't know English, we'll fall behind in the fast-moving world. To get a good job, we need English. Companies want workers who talk and write good English. It helps people get good jobs and more money. In over 60 countries and many groups that work all around the world, English is the main or important language. So, we need English to talk about official things every day. We live in a time when the world is all connected (globalization). People from other countries come to visit us. They don't know our language. That's why we need to learn English to talk to them. Numbers show that about 350 million people talk English as their first language and 300 million more use it as a second language. This shows we need English to be part of the smart and developed world. So, we can say that English helps us succeed in the future.
