My First School Day

When I was six years old in 1993, something very important happened to me. I remember it well. It was about my first day at school. On that special day, my father took me to Neel Para Primary School in our village. We went to the headmaster's room. I was a bit nervous, but the headmaster's friendly face and kind words made me feel better. He asked me my name, and I told him. Then he showed me a chart with letters and asked me to say some of them. I could say all the letters. After that, the headmaster called a teacher and told him to take me to my class. I said goodbye to my father and went into the classroom with the teacher. The teacher greeted me and gave me a seat in the classroom. My classmates were really nice to me. I felt really happy.
