Saving a Boy from Drowning
Imagine a day last Saturday that I'll always remember. It started like any other day, I went to the river to take a bath around 9 in the morning. Not many people were there at that time, just two boys enjoying their bath in the river. All of a sudden, one of them slipped into the deeper part of the water and cried out for help. The other boy didn't know what to do and looked really confused.
Right away, I knew I had to do something. Without thinking too much, I jumped into the water. I had learned how to rescue someone who's drowning in a class about helping others. So, I grabbed the boy by his hair and carefully brought him back to the land where it's safe. While I was doing this, a few people had noticed what was happening and they came over to help.
When they saw how I managed to save the boy, they said a lot of nice things about what I did. I felt really good about it. I also felt thankful to my teacher who had taught me how to help in situations like this. Later on, when I told my dad about what happened, he was really proud of me.
