Water, an important part of the world around us, is needed for people and plants. It's like air. Water can get dirty in many ways. First, farmers put special stuff on their fields to help crops grow. Rain and floods carry some of these things away. They mix with river, canal, and pond water. Second, factories make water dirty by putting their garbage and things they didn't sell into rivers and canals. Third, boats can also make water dirty. They throw oil, food scraps, and human waste into rivers and canals. Even toilets near rivers and canals make water dirty. Small, open drains that lead to rivers and canals also cause dirty water. Clean water is good, and dirty water is bad for people. We can stop water from getting dirty in many ways. First, we need to tell everyone that water is important, like air. It's a part of life. So, we shouldn't let chemicals mix with river, canal, and pond water. Factories shouldn't put their garbage and unsold stuff into rivers and canals. Boats should avoid throwing oil, food scraps, and human waste into the water. Toilets near rivers and canals shouldn't be built. In short, we need to help everyone understand and care about this.
