Honey and the fly-Short stories for children
Once upon a time, in a little village, there was a young man. He had a jar of honey that he wanted to enjoy. So, he put the jar on the table to have a tasty treat. One day, by accident, the jar got knocked over and the gooey, sweet honey spilled out onto the table.
The wonderful smell of the honey quickly attracted a bunch of flies. They started flying around it, lured by the delicious scent. These flies didn't even wait for an invitation – they immediately landed on the honey. But, here's the tricky part: the honey was so sticky that it got all over the flies. Their wings got stuck, and they couldn't even free their feet from the gooey mess. Sadly, one by one, they couldn't escape and ended up dying because of the honey.
The lesson here is: It's not a good idea to be too greedy for something that seems nice for just a short time. Being too greedy might lead to problems that can harm you. So, remember, it's important to think about the consequences before you act.
