A person who earns money by driving a rickshaw is called a rickshaw driver or rickshaw puller. They are well-known figures in cities, both big and small. Nowadays, you can even find rickshaw pullers on village roads. You'll usually find them near places like offices, schools, colleges, universities, or markets. They can also be seen at bus stops, train stations, ferry docks, and important road intersections.

Most rickshaw pullers don't own their own rickshaws. Instead, they rent one in the morning or afternoon from the owner for a certain amount of money. Then they go out on the streets in search of passengers. They usually work in the morning or late at night. When they get tired, they take a break and rest in the rickshaw hut. They often buy food from inexpensive hotels on the sidewalk.

Rickshaw pullers generally get along well with passengers, but sometimes they have disagreements over fares that can lead to fights. They struggle hard to support their families. They live in slum areas of the city. Despite their hard work, they can't change their fate. Rickshaw pullers live difficult lives, and it's important for us to always treat them with kindness. While we may not be able to help them financially, we can at least show them respect and treat them as fellow human beings.
