A Village Fair Paragraph
A village fair is a big gathering where men, women, and children come together. It happens once a year. Villagers gather at the fair to buy and sell things. Usually, the fair takes place near the river or in the temple courtyard. It happens on the first day of Baisakh or the anniversary of a holy person's death. The fair can last for a day or even a week. The village fair is like a show. Many people bring things they made by hand to sell and show off. At the fair, you can find many interesting things for sale like clothes, cheap jewelry, makeup, dishes, bamboo items, and delicious sweets. There are also attractions at the fair such as rides, a circus, puppet shows, and magic shows. A village fair is useful in many ways. It supports small industries and helps artisans, potters, and weavers. However, there are some problems with the fair in the village. It lacks proper sanitation and there are often gambling activities. It is a noisy and unhealthy place, and there can be pickpockets too. Despite these issues, a village fair brings us joy and happiness. It provides entertainment and helps us escape from our boring daily lives. Therefore, we should have more fairs to promote our culture and prosperity.
