Drug Addiction Paragraph

Drug addiction is when someone becomes strongly attracted to illegal substances that can harm their health. It mostly affects young people who easily become addicted to drugs. Drugs can be legal or illegal, and examples include alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, heroin, and eyaba. There are different reasons why people become addicted to drugs. For young people, emotional issues, problems within the family, and social pressure are often the main causes. Other reasons include feeling frustrated with education, not receiving enough love or support from family, experiencing depression, and even being subjected to sexual abuse. Some individuals start using drugs out of habit or curiosity. Young people often hang out in groups, and they may end up taking drugs from each other. Drug addiction is harmful to health and can lead to premature death. It also increases the risk of various diseases such as brain cancer, heart attacks, stroke, and blood cancer. Overcoming drug addiction requires the love and support of family and the surrounding community. It's not something that can be immediately overcome; it may take several months or even years to break free from this addiction.
