English is a language that is spoken all around the world. It has become very important because our world has become like a small village where different countries are closely connected and need to talk to each other. To talk to each other, we need a language that everyone understands. English has become that language. It is used in important international organizations like the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Olympic Committee. A lot of information on computers is also in English, about 80% of it! Many companies want their employees to know English very well because it's important for good jobs. If you want to study in a higher education institution or communicate globally, you need to know English. Most books in science and technology are in English or translated into it. So, knowing English is really important in today's world.
