What activities do children and elderly folks engage in within villages?
What is the appearance of the town scenery during a winter morning?
A chilly morning during winter brings both joy and difficulty. It's naturally very cold. Thick fog covers everything. Sometimes, the fog is so thick that sunlight can't break through. Even objects at a short distance become hard to see. The surroundings appear unclear. The sun seems to rise late. During the night, dewdrops fall. When the morning sun shines, they glisten like golden specks on grass and leaves. This kind of morning is pleasant for the wealthy but a burden for the poor. Poor people in villages and slum dwellers in cities suffer because they lack warm clothing. Farmers have to head to the fields with their supplies. Workers from lower classes also need to go to work early. In villages, children and elderly people gather straw to build fires and warm themselves. The elderly enjoy the sun or warm up by the fireplace. In village markets, some individuals sell 'date juice'. The scenery in towns differs greatly from that in villages. Townspeople wake up a bit later and also relish the winter morning. So, a winter morning brings both enjoyment and hardship to people.
