National Flag Paragraph

A national flag is like a special picture that shows a country is free. All countries have their own flags. Bangladesh, being its own country, also has a national flag. It got this flag on December 16, 1971 after brave people fought for nine months against the Pakistani army. The flag is a rectangle that is 10 units wide and 6 units tall. It has two colors: bottle green and red. The green means youth, freshness, and Bangladesh's green nature. The red circle means the sun rising and the brave fighters who gave their lives for their country. The flag is raised on government buildings, schools, and offices. It goes up on Independence Day and Victory Day. Sometimes, it's raised halfway on sad days. When we see our flag, we feel happy and proud of our country.
