Traffic Jam

Traffic jam means a serious blockage on the road caused by a long line of vehicles. Nowadays, this is a common sight on roads in big cities and towns in our country. This has become a significant issue for people. Many reasons are responsible for this traffic jam. Firstly, most roads are narrow and unplanned. Secondly, roads are not enough considering our population. Thirdly, many vehicles without proper licenses use the roads. Moreover, many drivers are not familiar with driving rules. Others don't follow traffic rules willingly. Reckless driving and overtaking are also common. Additionally, small vehicles like rickshaws, auto rickshaws, private cars, and carts contribute to unbearable traffic jams. The number of traffic police is insufficient to handle this problem. Traffic jam wastes a lot of time and causes problems. Office-goers, students, patients, and general people suffer due to traffic jams. This situation should be addressed strictly for the well-being and smoother movement of people. Widening roads, implementing one-way traffic, removing unlicensed vehicles, and enforcing strict traffic rules can improve the quality of civic life and ease traffic congestion.
