World Heritage Sites in Bangladesh Paragraph
A World Heritage Site is a really important place for culture or nature that everyone in the world agrees is very valuable. The United Nations group UNESCO decides these places because of rules made in 1972. Even though Bangladesh is small, it has three World Heritage Sites. These places are the old Six-Domed Mosque in Bagerhat, the broken Buddhist monastery in Paharpur, and the Sundarbans mangrove forest. The Six-Domed Mosque is a fancy Islamic building from 15th century, with lots of pillars and curved roofs. The Buddhist monastery in Paharpur started in the 7th century and is the biggest one in India. Sundarbans, the 52nd World Heritage Site, is a special forest by the water, known for its many kinds of animals, like the famous Royal Bengal Tiger. We should know and do our part to keep these special places safe, as responsible citizens.
