A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed Completing Story
Once upon a time, there were two pals who lived in a village. They made a pact that they'd support each other in times of trouble. One day, they were walking through a dense forest when suddenly they heard a big noise. It turned out to be a bear. Both of them got scared and didn't know what to do. One friend was skilled in climbing trees, so he left his buddy behind and scrambled up a tree to hide. The other friend was left helpless on the ground.
But then, an idea struck him. He remembered that bears don't eat animals that appear dead. With no other options, he decided to pretend to be dead. He lay down on the ground, completely still. Eventually, the bear arrived, sniffed around, and thought he was dead. So, the bear left without causing any harm.
When the bear was gone, the friend climbed down from the tree. He asked what the bear had whispered to him. The friend who had pretended to be dead replied that the bear had told him to avoid being friends with someone who abandons their friend in danger. Hearing this, the other friend felt embarrassed and walked away.
That's how the story teaches us that a true friend helps you when you're in need, and you shouldn't leave your friends behind when they're facing trouble.
