Dress Does Not Make a Man Great Completing Story

Sheikh Saadi was a really famous poet in Iran. He lived a simple life. Once, the king of Iran invited him to the palace. Sheikh Saadi had to walk all day on his feet, and by the time evening came, he was tired. So, he found a place to stay in a rich man's house for the night. Sheikh Saadi always wore plain clothes, nothing fancy. But the rich man thought he was just a regular traveler and didn't treat him very well.

The next day, Sheikh Saadi left the rich man's house and made his way to the king's palace. The king treated him kindly and gave him fancy royal clothes to wear. On his way back home, Sheikh Saadi stopped again at the same rich man's house. This time, the rich man saw the royal clothes and treated him with respect. He served him really tasty and rich food. However, Sheikh Saadi didn't eat the food; he put it in his pockets instead! This surprised the rich man, and he asked why he was doing that. Sheikh Saadi calmly explained what had happened on the first and second days. "The delicious food was given to me because of the clothes, so I'm keeping the food in my clothes," he said.

The rich man felt embarrassed for how he had treated Sheikh Saadi before and asked for forgiveness. Sheikh Saadi then introduced himself properly to the rich man and said goodbye.

The lesson of the story is that what someone wears doesn't determine their greatness. Even though Sheikh Saadi wore simple clothes, he was a wise and respectable person. The rich man learned that kindness and respect are important, no matter how someone looks or what they wear.
