Too Much Greed, Too Much Sufferings Completing Story
Once upon a time, there was a dog who took a piece of meat from a butcher's shop. He was really excited and ran away with the meat until he reached a stream. Over the stream, there was a wooden plank, like a bridge. The dog tried to cross the stream using the plank. While he was crossing, he looked down at the water and saw a shadow that looked just like another dog, with the meat in its mouth.
The dog got greedy and thought there was another dog with more meat. So, without thinking, he jumped into the water. But as he jumped, he dropped the meat from his mouth. The meat floated away in the river's current. To his surprise, there was no other dog; the "other dog" was just his own reflection. The greedy dog struggled to swim back to the shore, all wet and tired.
With a heavy heart, the greedy dog made his way back home, feeling hungrier than before. He realized that his greed had caused all this trouble.
A Lesson from the Greedy Dog
Once, there lived a dog who really wanted a piece of meat from a butcher's shop. He managed to snatch the meat and ran as fast as his paws could carry him. Eventually, he arrived at a stream. Across the stream, there was a wooden plank that looked like a bridge. The dog stepped onto the plank and started crossing the stream.
While crossing, he glanced down into the water and saw something that startled him – it seemed like another dog with meat in its mouth was crossing the stream too. The greedy dog's eyes widened, and he couldn't resist the thought of having even more meat. So, without second thoughts, he leaped into the water, dropping his meat into the stream. But as he reached the water, the other dog disappeared. Confused and wet, he managed to swim back to the bank, realizing his mistake.
Drenched and miserable, the greedy dog headed back home, his stomach growling even louder now. He understood that his excessive greed had led to his downfall.
